As a small independent bookstore, we strive to provide quality products and excellent customer service. If you have any concerns regarding your order, please contact us at longdarkhouse@gmail.com, and we'll do our best to assist you.
Shipping
Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address at checkout. Long Dark House is not responsible for packages that are delayed, lost, stolen, or misdelivered due to incorrect shipping information provided by the customer.
Once an order has shipped, delivery timelines and package handling are the responsibility of the shipping carrier.
Books
Books may be returned within 7 days of delivery in their original, unread condition.
A valid receipt or proof of purchase is required for all returns.
Eligible returns will receive store credit only. We do not offer cash refunds.
Candles, Fragrance, Gifts & Merchandise
Candles, fragrance products, gifts, and other merchandise may be returned within 7 days of delivery if they are unused, unopened, and in their original condition.

For health, safety, and quality reasons, we cannot accept returns on items that have been opened, burned, used, tested, worn, or otherwise altered from their original condition.
Damaged Orders
If your order arrives damaged, please contact longdarkhouse@gmail.com within 7 days of delivery and include photographs of both the item and packaging so we can review the issue and determine an appropriate resolution.
Store Credit
Approved returns will be issued as store credit for use on future purchases. Store credit has no cash value and may not be redeemed for cash.
Store credit and return eligibility are issued at the sole discretion of Long Dark House. Returns that do not meet the conditions outlined above may be denied.
